“Starting with a coveted recipe from my Aunt Pretty, I began baking her famous sweet potato cake for family events and friends. The cake was a hit and soon after I became overwhelmed with the growing number of requests for cakes. As time passed and the orders continued, my passion for baking grew. In 2021, I took a chance and opened my home bakery, Pretty Bakes. Named for the women who sparked my love for baking, my Aunt Pretty.
